Beware of Downed Power Lines

Few hazards on the road are more dangerous to motorists than a downed power line. Regardless of whether the line is alive with sparking electricity, or appears to be powerless, there is no such thing as being too careful. Always assume it’s energized. A downed power line can hold enough electrical current to cause severe injury or death.
